The front of the deck is supported by concrete cantilevers (not the steel power pole as it looks in the picture) reaching out in a triangular bow-of-a-ship form. The railings lean out like those on a boat, which dissuade drunken sailors from sitting on them. The furniture is all reclaimed (used) and is being refurbished. The rattan weathers very well in this indoor-outdoor environment.
